1 Warranty

Jewellery sold by jolicaillou SA – diams.com is covered by a two-year warranty from the date of delivery.

The delivery date is confirmed by the invoice or accompanying document, which the customer is asked to keep carefully.

The warranty covers manufacturing or material defects existing at the time of delivery.

The warranty does not cover in particular:

• normal wear resulting from use

• scratches

• deformations resulting from shock or pressure

• damage resulting from improper use or inadequate maintenance

• modifications or repairs carried out by an unauthorized third party

2 Authenticity of diamonds

Unless otherwise stated, the diamonds offered by diams.com are natural diamonds.

Some diamonds are accompanied by a certificate issued by an independent gemological laboratory, in particular:

• GIA – Gemological Institute of America

These certificates constitute an independent gemological opinion based on the laboratory’s analytical methods.

3 Kimberley Process

In accordance with United Nations resolutions and the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, the diamonds sold by diams.com originate from legal sources that are not involved in the financing of armed conflicts.

To the best of its knowledge and based on written guarantees provided by its suppliers, jolicaillou SA guarantees that the diamonds offered are not conflict diamonds.

4 Ethical commitment

By “ethical jewellery” we mean jewellery originating from a supply chain aiming to respect:

• international commercial standards

• fundamental workers’ rights

• transparency in the trade of gemstones and precious metals

In this context, jolicaillou SA seeks to work with partners who share these requirements.

5 Commitment to transparency

Our approach is based in particular on the following principles:

• assuming responsibility for the legitimacy of the products we purchase and sell

• carrying out reasonable checks on the supply chain

• refusing to purchase or sell products whose origin raises serious concerns

• encouraging our partners and suppliers to apply similar transparency standards
