Returns and Security

 

1 Right of return – 30 days

The customer has a 30-day period from the date of delivery to return a jewellery item that does not meet their expectations.

The right of return may be exercised without penalty, except for return shipping costs which remain the responsibility of the customer.

To be accepted, the product must be returned:

  • in its original condition

  • unworn and undamaged

  • accompanied by any certificate

  • in its complete original packaging

2 Products excluded from return

The following products cannot be returned:

  • loose diamonds ordered individually

  • custom-made creations

  • personalized jewellery

  • jewellery modified or adjusted at the customer’s request

 

3 Return procedure

Before returning a product, the customer must contact the diams.com customer service to declare the return.

The request can be made:

  • by telephone

  • by email

Once the return has been approved, the jewellery must be sent back via insured and secure postal shipment, indicating the declared value.

4 Return acceptance conditions

Only jewellery returned:

  • complete

  • unworn

  • unmodified

  • in its intact original packaging

may be refunded or exchanged.

 

Any jewellery that is:

  • damaged

  • worn

  • modified

  • or returned without its original packaging

cannot be refunded.

 

5 Return of certified diamonds

If a jewellery item is accompanied by a gemological certificate, this certificate must be returned together with the jewellery.

If the certificate is missing or damaged, the cost of reissuing the certificate may be deducted from the refund.

 

6 Authenticity verification

Upon receipt of the returned item, diams.com performs a gemological and technical verification of the jewellery.

This verification includes checking:

  • the authenticity of the stone

  • the correspondence with the delivered product

  • the integrity of the jewellery

Refund or exchange will only be processed once this verification has been completed.

 

7 Refund

Once the returned product has been received and validated, the refund will be processed within a maximum of 30 days.

The refund will be issued:

  • by bank transfer

  • or by the same payment method used for the purchase, when possible.

8 Transport responsibility

Returned items travel under the responsibility of the customer until received by jolicaillou SA.

It is therefore strongly recommended to use:

  • insured shipping

  • secure delivery with signature

In case of loss or damage during transport, diams.com cannot be held liable.

 

9 Transaction security

Credit card transactions on the website www.diams.com are secured through SSL encryption, ensuring the confidentiality of transmitted information.

A security certificate allows customers to verify the authenticity of the connection and guarantees secure data exchange.

 

10 Data protection

Personal information collected during orders is used solely for order processing.

These data are processed in accordance with Swiss data protection legislation (FADP).
