Marc Chevalier is a gemologist who graduated from the Idar-Oberstein School of Gemology in Germany in 1989.

Passionate about minerals from the age of eight years old, he pursued two years of Geology at the University of Lausanne, and has more than 30 years of experience in the field of sale and purchase of diamonds and precious stones for watchmaking and jewelry.  He has worked in various companies such as Rolex, Golay-Buchel, in the central purchasing of precious stones at the Swatch Group as a Senior Purchaser Gemologist. He has travelled widely and has visited different mines around the world, such as those in Brazil, Kenya and Tanzania to name a few.  He was able to forge a network of relationships around the world which allows him to find exceptional stones in the most beautiful and best qualities of purities and sizes possible.  During one of these trips to Kenya, he decided to set up on his own and to offer his specific knowledge of the different of stones to as many people as possible.
